A few weeks ago, I was sent a a 12 pound package from Bard Valley Natural Delights Medjool Dates! Inside this delightful box (no pun intended) was a combination of twelve packages of delicious Medjool Dates and Date Rolls from Bard Valley! Natural delights sent me some of their amazing Date Rolls, which included 3 different flavors: almond, pistachio, and coconut. I had never tried date rolls before, but they are pretty addicting! Coconut was my favorite, so much sweet chewy goodness in one bite! Along with a generous amount of date rolls, they also sent me some whole Medjool dates which were fantastic. I go through tons of dates in my kitchen because I love using them in place of refined sugar for baked goods & desserts, and love nibbling on them when I am craving something sweet.

I saw this quote on the Natural Delights website and had to share it with you guys! It’s perfect haha
“Once the fruit of kings. Now the king of fruits. The mighty, majestic Medjool.”

“Known as the “Fruit of the Kings,” caramel-like Natural Delights Medjool Dates are considered the best-tasting, most luscious dates in the world. In addition to being a good source of fiber, they contain no added sugar, are high in antioxidants and offer important vitamins and minerals including Potassium, Copper, Magnesium, Vitamin B6, Niacin, Calcium, Iron and Vitamin K.” -Natural Delights

Natural Delights also sent me some excellent information explaining why Bard Valley Natural Delights Medjool Dates are a nutritional powerhouse!

  • They are naturally sweet Medjool dates are naturally sweet and contain no added sugar, making them an ideal alternative to artificial and processed sweeteners.
  • They help protect against cancer Medjool dates are filled with polyphenols, powerful antioxidants that help protect the body against the oxidation and inflammation of cells that can lead to cancer. Medjool dates contain more antioxidants than blackberries, plums and apples.
  • They help stabilize blood sugar levels Medjool dates rate low to low/medium on the Glycemic Index (GI). A low-GI carb diet keeps glucose and insulin levels stable, helping maintain sustained energy and a healthy weight.
  • They make you feel fuller for longer Medjool dates are loaded with dietary fiber. Just one-quarter cup of Medjools provides 12 percent of the daily requirement of fiber and helps satisfy between-meal cravings.
  • They can reenergize Rich in potassium, manganese and other important minerals, Medjools help balance blood sodium levels and release energy from protein, fat and carbohydrates.
  • They are a healthy snack Medjool dates are a no-fat and no-cholesterol treat, making them ideal for snacking.
  • They help fight against “bad” cholesterol Medjool dates help lower LDL cholesterol levels, which decreases the risk of diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
  • They can ease labor and deliveries in pregnant women A study in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology indicated that pregnant women who consumed six Medjool dates for four weeks prior to their estimated delivery date had easier labors with fewer complications.
  • They help lower blood pressure Medjool dates are also dense in copper, Vitamin B6, niacin, calcium, iron and Vitamin K, making it the perfect addition to the DASH diet, which is proven to lower blood pressure.
  • They have a long shelf life Medjool dates have a shelf life of 30 days when stored at room temperature – making them ideal for travel and enjoying at work, home or play.

With an abundance of fresh dates, I knew it was time for a new dessert recipe! Mmmm my fav! This is an adaptation of my favorite Vegan Chef, Chef AJ’s Raw Brownies!

Raw Brownie Bites
Makes 12 servings

1 cup pitted Medjool dates
1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
1/2 cup walnuts
3 Tbsp raw cacao powder (or 4 Tbsp cocoa powder)
1/2 tbsp pure vanilla extract

Blend the sunflower seeds and walnuts in a food processor or high powered blender until finely ground but not a nut butter consistency. Add the cacao powder and vanilla extract and blend again until mixed evenly. Remove pits from dates. Add the the dates and process until a dough like mixture is formed. You should be able to sculpt the dough without crumbling. Using a 1 Tbsp measuring spoon, scoop the dough and roll into 12 balls. Keep in the refrigerator for 1 week or freezer for up to 1 month. Enjoy!

If you’re looking for a post workout snack or a healthy dessert, turn your Raw Brownie Bites into a Brownie Batter Milkshake with this super simple recipe:

Brownie Batter Milkshake

2 Raw Brownie Bites

OMG–what an amazing giveaway! I *love* dates but can’t often buy them because they are so expensive. If I were to win, I would definitely eat quite a few dates as is–one of the best treats ever!–and also use them to make some yummy treats like black bean brownies and raw apple pie 🙂

I am on day 3 of the skinny bunny cleanse and have been craving some type of chocolatey dessert. Since I am planning on following the Rabbit Food Pyramid after the cleanse, I would use them in a healthy way- probably with the raw bites. They look so delish. For that matter, I would also try one plain- I’ve never had a plain one before, just in recipes!

I’m trying to convert my parents to a plant-based diet. My plan of action is to first make them some yummy desserts. Medjool dates would be perfect!

Even though I am 21, I have extremely high cholesterol so I have to be super careful about what I eat. These dates and date rolls would be perfect, delicious snacks for me! I would stuff some of them with a mixture of roasted sesame seeds, sliced almonds, and crushed cardamom, because my host mom I had when I studied in India enjoyed eating them that way 🙂 And probably some healthy oatmeal date nut muffins too! I love your blog because you make healthy eating seem simple and delicious. Thank you 🙂

I would totally try these recipes and also just eat the dates straight out the box. Growing up in Southern California medjool dates were the family fave and date shakes were the best!

I’m new to plant based eating and am a huge fan! I bought my first package of mejdool dates yesterday and have so far made two recipes with them. I made veggie brownies and a yummy peanut salad dressing. I had no idea how versitile this little date is. If I win I would continue to experiment with new recipes and hopefully find alternatives to snack on and satisfy my ginormous sweet tooth. Pick me!!

I just recently found this site and it is opening my eyes to healthier living. I definitely used the dates in the recipes provided. This would allow for the whole family to have something sweet but good for them. Also, since I love to cook I would find other ways to include the dates in meals or recipes and share with everyone.

Im so excited about this giveaway! I was just looking up what supermarket in my area sells them! I’ve never tried them– but if I won I would use them to make an energizing breakfast smoothie! One I could just take along where ever I go in the morning! As a busy mom of an 17 month old boy, I don’t have the luxury of time. Fingers crossed… 🙂

Hi Catherine! How ironic that I was sitting here savoring the Black bean and Spinach brownies when I read today’s post! Lucky you to have received such a lavish gift! When I made the brownies I was skeptical at first, but the combination of medjool dates and cocoa powder camouflages the other “secret ingredients”. I hate to admit that I ate too many Medjools while I was preparing the brownies, so I only had 9 left for the recipe!! So, if I am selected, I will put a moderate quantity aside for my daily indulgence of nature’s “candy” while trying to observe moderation, and use the others to continue using in your yummy recipes and experimentation of my own (almond butter/medjool date toast anyone?) I’m now on week 2 1/2 of my Rabbit food lifestyle and love the improvement in my energy and the decreasing scale! Thank you Catherine!!

I am 31, two children (4 yrs old and 1 month old) and have recently figured out that my extreme high cholesterol has been chronic for many years. I have never been someone who would go for dates as first choice just because I did not know the benefits until now. So these dates that you have written about would be great for me. I need to incorporate more delicious snacks since I am on the path to a better lifestyle. I have read some great salad recipes and feel they would go great with some nuts as well. I can only imagine how they would benefit a nice batch of oatmeal or some muffins. If I won I would try all of your great sounding recipes and they would help me on my journey of satisfying my sweet tooth in a different way; it will also assist me in showing my 4 year old other food options.

I would eat them! Yum. I love a date with just a little bit of goat cheese or cream cheese and a pecan or walnut on top. I also love the recipes that you have that are more for the sweet tooth esepcially the shake and the chickpea cookie dip. Yummy.

    July 16, 2012 at 7:01 pm (12 years ago)

I have recently become addicted to the chickpea cookie dough dip! I would have never imagined I would buy dates and then use them in a recipe. My mother and grandmother have always loved dates, but I thought they were “icky”. So happy to now enjoy them!

I’m so excited to try the other recipes where you substitute dates for sugar. My father is vegan and is coming to visit for his 80th birthday. I’m excited to prepare something delicious that others at his party, vegan or not, will enjoy!

    Thanks for the fabulous ideas!

I think I have had dates once or twice in my life. As an avid baker, I have a huge sweet tooth and love experimenting with different dessert recipes. I have been waiting to try out a healthy oatmeal-banana muffin recipe I saw on pinterest (made with Greek yogurt and no flour). I think adding dates would be a great addition to this. I think I would also add them to my overnight oats an try some raw brownie bites.

I love dark chocolate & often feel that need to finish a meal with a sweet bite so these brownie bites would be perfect! Also very curious over the banana bread 🙂

I would make several desserts with dates! Right now, I’m trying to start eating healthier so I’ve printed up several recipes for healthier sweets, which all call for dates. I can’t find any where I am from, so I’m having to use sugar or improvise at the last minute. I have been super unsuccessful. It’s not anything exciting, I just want to actually have healthier sweets!

My two favorite things to make with dates are a chocolate peanut butter tofudding pie with a date & nut crust and raw brownie bites which I made for myself the first time to sate a craving with no recipe! I introduced dates to my diet when I got rid of processed sugars in our house I’ve had a lot of success pleasing even Non-bunny food eaters with the results. Plus i have a sugar allergic friend who has requested the tofudding pie but I’ve been putting off making it for her because of our tight budget this month!

I was unaware that dates were so nutritious!! I love love love them and I’ve always assumed because they are so sweet that they couldn’t be good for you. Since I have never cooked with dates, I would probably go on a healthy recipe google search and try every one I could find! I am soo happy to find you website! I’ve only been following you for a couple of weeks but now I have to log on every day to make sure I haven’t missed anything good!!

I’d make them into brownie bites to give to my clients (I’m a social worker) to prove to them that healthy can and does taste great!!!

Looks so yummy! Keep up the great work Catherine!

I had a side question: What are your views about when you go out for drinking? Do you stick to certain drinks, don’t drink, or just eat healthy until you go out and just have fun when going out for a girls night?

    Thanks! Love your blog!

Oh wow! These little brownie bites will be the perfect cure to my sweet tooth without adding sugar and fat! I might add craisens to give them a sort of chocolate fruit combo. Love this blog!

If I won, I would experiment like crazy with dates! I especially want to try my oatmeal protein cookie recipie with the addition of dates–yumm! Or, maybe a date/orange/ginger chutney as a naturally sweet sauce to put over chicken or in stir fry! The opportunities to experiement are endless and exciting–all I need are the dates!

    July 17, 2012 at 9:11 am (12 years ago)

I was not offered dates growing up, but now learning how powerfully healthy these little morsels are I am offering the snack to my children to help maintain their health. If I won, my whole family would enjoy snacking on the dates alone or in recipes!

    July 17, 2012 at 9:13 am (12 years ago)

I would use the dates to win a bet with my husband, showing him you can have awesome dessert without refined sugar. When I win the bet he will have to clean the dishes for a week

    July 17, 2012 at 9:18 am (12 years ago)

I am a big sweets person. I try my hardest to keep myself in check and eat healthy but sometimes the cravings get the best of me. I could eat something sweet for every meal and these dates sound like a great way to substitute my sugar addiction for something a bit more healthy 🙂

  183. Elizabeth
    July 17, 2012 at 9:26 am (12 years ago)

I prefer to eat my dates raw. It’s like a piece of caramel candy!

  184. Irene
    July 17, 2012 at 9:36 am (12 years ago)

If I won – I would probably have to refrain from eating the dates by themselves. But I really want to make some protein/energy bites like these raw brownie bites. Even if I don’t win I need to buy some dates because I really want to try this recipe!

I would make date peanut butter bars that would taste exactly like peanut butter cookies (so basically a homemade Lara bar — delicious, easy, and with fewer ingredients than I have fingers.)

These sounds so delish!!! I would definitely use them to make these cookie dough bites! Plus I’ve seen many other recipies that call for them and have never been able to find them! PS- LOVE your blog. I have told many people about it, even my brother who has lost 8 lbs since he started incorporating your recipies into his diet two weeks ago!!!

  192. Megan
    July 17, 2012 at 10:22 am (12 years ago)

I hope I win! I’ve never won anything! 🙂 I would take them to work and snack on them. I’m a baker by trade so I have an awful big sweet tooth! I’m hoping to transform my taste buds to like healthier sweet stuff so I can lose the 70 pounds I’m trying to get off! I have severe back problems and need to get this weight off pronto!

I absolutely love dates! Any fruit in general are my favorite go-to snacks! My friend goes to school at Bard and has told me about this brand and their products so when I saw that you were teaming with them for this giveaway I almost cried! Please pick me, I will not let one little date go to waste 🙂

ps- you’re raw brownie recipe sounds delish! Can’t wait to try it out!

    July 17, 2012 at 10:52 am (12 years ago)

If I won the dates I’d totally have to try the shake! I read through the benefits of the dates and I’m interested to see that they are low to medium on the Glycemic Index. My Uncle Marty recently found out that he is a diabetic and is having a hard time finding new healthier food to eat. Sweets are his downfall. I’m planning on finding some for him to try this week!

  197. Megan

    July 17, 2012 at 12:26 pm (12 years ago)

I would finally get to try a medjool date because I cannot get them where I live!!!!!!! Alas, I have searched high and low, but they are nowhere to be found!

I would try as many date recipes from your blog that I possibly could and use them to cater what might be the worlds first DATE PARTY! Wahoo! Dates for everyone; and I mean the food, I unfortunately am not a good match maker.

Seriously though… I would throw a date party with a host of your recipes. Pictures would be provided as proof. Perhaps I could even get my food blogger friend Ginger Snapped to give food styling advice!

    What do you think?

    July 17, 2012 at 12:53 pm (12 years ago)

One of my favorite uses for dates is in charoset. It’s one of the components of the seder plate for Passover, so I really only eat it once a year, but I love it so much so I often contemplate making it just for kicks. My family has always made a version that doesn’t include dates, but last year I experimented with my friends and included dates and it blew my mind.

I also love just eating dates. I think of them as the sugar fruit. But they’re healthy!

  209. Lindsay
    July 17, 2012 at 12:54 pm (12 years ago)

Dates stuffed with Gorgonzola!!! Pop them in the oven for a few min to melt the cheese, and they are perfect! A little fiber with a little protein!!

  215. Haley
    July 17, 2012 at 1:07 pm (12 years ago)

I would make some bars (with most of the dates).. Dates and cashews in the food processor. YUM!…. the remaining dates? Eat ’em up! Nature’s candy =)

I would love to win these dates. I picked some up at the store last week and they are pretty pricey. I have never had dates, that I know of, but I don’t want to use them because then I would have to buy more! Hope I win! 🙂

  219. Jess
    July 17, 2012 at 1:17 pm (12 years ago)

Hmmm, if I won I believe I would have to have a date night 🙂 Spend the night in with my favorite man-friend and taste test a bunch of fantastic recipes centered around…well…dates. I have to say I have never had a date, although somehow I can imagine what they taste like-quite excited! I used to be an ex-vegan (thinking about joining the team again), due to lack of resources in college went back to eating meat, then developed Hypothyroidism (figuring that out now)…so I’d love a chance to win something to help me get my body back on the healthy track. I generally eat well but every little bit helps. I’m 5’8″ and 250, used to be 120…working hard on figuring out my body again and what I needs to get back to a healthy weight. Dates could be a helping hand 🙂

    July 17, 2012 at 1:48 pm (12 years ago)

My first ever response! I love your blog and find it very inspiring to read about someone who has gone through the same struggles as me–we have a very similar weight loss experience and I’ve been working on practicing a plant based diet for about two months now.

As for using the dates, well to be honest I don’t know that I’ve ever had them before! I’m not much of a baker, but I am a huge fan of chocolate so I’ve been trying to find healthier dessert recipes that are simple enough for me to make. I would try making your Black Bean & Spinach Brownies first, but these brownie bites sound pretty amazing too..

Dates are sooooo yummy! If I won the date giveaway I would make date banana bread. I would also mix them with some nuts and granola and make a trail mix for my bike rides.

  226. Belinda Starck
    July 17, 2012 at 2:52 pm (12 years ago)

I would create a theme for them! As you quoted, “The King of Fruits”, I would make some sort of theme…like a “royal” tea party! And I would use the medjool dates in every recipe I would make for the tea party. You said that you use them in your raw brownie bites, so why not have those!? Or your healthy vegan banana bread?! And I would figure out how to use the medjool dates in other little “healthy” tea cake inspired ideas. I think it’s great that you’ve come this far and you really are an inspiration to me! I can’t wait to see what you have next!

  227. Alethea
    July 17, 2012 at 2:55 pm (12 years ago)

I’d try these brownie bites & make homemade “Lara” bars. I tried to make your recipe with some dates I had & flaxseeds instead of sunflower seeds…didn’t work, so now I must try again 🙂

I am new to this way of eating, vegetarian, vegan…learning and loving my new choices! While I’ve never eaten a date I would love to try them. If I won I would make your receipes and try them out and share them with my kids and grandkids! I already have my son doing green smoothies every morning! My son who as a child would not eat anything green. I used to find peas smeared on his jeans….and green beans in the plants and in cabinets……lol..he just refused to eat vegetables. Today he had spinach, kale, carrots, strawberries and mangoes in a smoothie!

I would just make your brownie shake recipe and just think…no guilt because it’s actually good for you! I would use dates in everything I possibly could. I’m always looking for healthier ways to eat and I’m trying to go vegan in a carnivore household. 🙂

As a newcomer to healthy cooking, date lover, and avid RFFMBT reader, I would use the dates to promote bunny food in my dorm to help girls like me avoid the freshman (and sophomore) 15 that I succumbed to. I would use your recipes and some of my own to teach the girls that healthy food CAN be very, very yummy!

    Greetings from Michigan!

Dates….. what in the heck do those taste like?? I’ve tried a lot of interesting food in my life, but the one thing I can honestly say I’ve never tried, and it’s such a simple food with so many benefits!

So, for someone who has never tried dates what would I do with my dates. Well eat them of course! I’m excited to try them natural and rolled up with some coconut (my fave), the pistachio or almond. But, it also sounds like it would be great added into a Michigan salad with cherries and blueberries (which we are known for), so walnuts and maybe some blue cheese??? Who knows until I can try it 🙂

Recently, I’ve really committed myself to eating natural foods. Being new to the blog world, I was so excited to find your site and have access to information that will meet my goals. Thanks!

I became a vegetarian about a year ago and this past year has been an amazing food journey. Originally I became a vegetarian to help eliminate processed foods from my diet. Makes no sense right, well, it has become something more meaningful and I have now ventured in to reducing refined sugars. Problems is, I have a sweet tooth. One of my favorite recipes is zucchini bread, but it is loaded with sugar. I use organic cane sugars and such, but I would really love to explore a way to make this recipe with dates =)

  251. Liz
    July 18, 2012 at 7:53 am (12 years ago)

I always thought dates looked like dead bugs. But they’re really tasty and a great alternative to sugar and artificial sweeteners, so I’m getting over that. I’m looking forward to completely eliminating added artificial and processed sweeteners from my diet and using dates as a substitute!

Since I had my son 9 months ago I have been really trying to have healthy eating habits not only for myself but for him as well. If I won I would make the delicious recipes you’ve shared and my son LOVES date and butternut sqush purée with a dash of nutmeg!

I absolutely love to cook with dates becaues they are a healthy way to make things sweet! I love the idea of using them to make brownies because I love sweets! I have had friends bring dates to me from Saudi Arabia so I would love to try these.

I would probably spend the next few days making every recipe you have that uses medjool dates!! I’ve tried just about every other recipe, and loved them all! I’m pretty sure I’ve been to every super market within 150 miles of here and I cant find those dates anywhere. 🙁 Love your blog, keep up the good work!

  255. Karen
    July 18, 2012 at 8:59 am (12 years ago)

If I won, I would eat them all up (in healthy moderation of course)! I am not a fan of dates, just because of how they look, but these look delicious! AND I am so going to make that brownie shake tomorrow evening as my dessert – I am on the skinny bunny 5 day cleanse right now so I can’t stray from the righteous path of eating!

I would use the dates to try out the recipe listed (black bean and spinach brownies). I used to make green shakes with fruit and spinach in them, you couldn’t taste the spinach at all so I’m curious to see what these brownies taste like.

Since my rabbit teeth crave sugar I have been really trying to look for healthy recipies. Thank you for such an awesome blog I have been enjoying all the good info that you have.

If I won the first thing I’d do is pack a few up in a care package along with a recipe and send them to my son who goes to school on the east coas! After that I’d make a date shake! I haven’t had a *date* in a while and I’m so excited to include them in my healthier ways of eating! Meanwhile, I’m also in the LA area. Any recommendations for a store that sells dates or more specifically, Natural Delights products?

    Thanks and Luck to All!

I would use them in place of sugar, too! I’ve been trying to cut down my sugar intake. But I still like sweet things every now and then, but artificial/’natural’ sweeteners make me sick 🙁

The first time I had a date was when I broke a fast I was doing for a charity. I’ve been in love ever since 🙂

I can’t wait to try your raw brownie bites recipe!

As someone who is newly vegan, but also a dessert addict, I tend to struggle with finding foods that are healthy, but still yummy. My mom once bought the coconut delight rolls, and I loved them! Sadly, living a very corporate, buissnes man like city, the closest place to get them is about an hour away. 🙁 If I won these treats, I would definitely try and make some tasty raw brownies. Would finally be something I can feel good about noshing on! (although your recipes make me feel pretty good too). Much bunny love!

If I won I would use the dates to aid in my weight loss seeing as I too have a sweet tooth problem. As well as use them to replace refined sugar in snacks and treats I make for my 3 year old daughter who I want to grow up healthy without constantly worrying about her weight as I have done for the past 27 years. I’m so glad I stumbled across your blog because I really needed some inspiration! 🙂

I would definitely use them to make raw brownies along with almonds, cacao powder, lucuma, and goji berries. Also, nothing wrong with slicing one open and stuffing it with almond butter! 🙂

I’ve lost 93 lbs and I’m always looking for ways to live a healthier and happier life. I also use dates to make healthier desserts in my kitchen. One of my favorites is banana, chocolate, nut squares. I take a banana, walnuts, and Medjool dates and process until you get a paste. Spread into a backing dish lined with plastic wrap. Then process another banana, raw cacao, raw honey, and freshly ground almond butter. Pour over the first layer. Then top with slivered almonds. Freeze for 2 hours, cut into squares, and serve. Yum! Looking forward to trying some of your date recipes!!

I looooove to make my homemade Larabars. I use dates, almonds, cashews, a scoopful of peanut butter and a hefty sprinkle of cinnamon. These would come in handy for making them, as we go through them like crazy. I make 2 batches a week!

I would really like to try these recipes to find something healthier to snack on.. I’m a SERIOUSLY picky eater so anything new to try and add to the list of foods that are better for me is a huge plus! These sound amazing!

Two words: Date Bread. It’s the same consistency as a zucchini bread or banana bread. The dates are paired with cardamom in the Iraqi Cookbook. So good.

I would really like to try these but I’m allergic to all nuts. Is there something that I could substitute for the walnuts?

    • Catherine
      July 30, 2012 at 9:54 pm (12 years ago)

Hi Jasmine! Oh no! I have not tried making the Raw Brownie Bites without nuts, but you could try replacing the walnuts with all sunflower seeds! I’m not sure if the texture/consistency would change, but let me know if you give it a try! xo

Thanks Catherine, I’m going to try it with all sunflower seeds or maybe even pumpkin seeds. The trouble now will be finding ones that don’t say “May Contain nuts” Maybe oats would work?

YUUUUUUMMYYY!!!! i’ve totally been craving these for days and I just made them this morning! I didn’t have any sunflower seeds, so i subbed with almonds and I didn’t have enough walnuts so i used about 1/4 C walnuts and 1/4 C peanuts. Plus my fair trade cacoa powder 😀 and 1 T coconut haha I love rffmbt! Thanks for yet another deeelicious recipe! (and thank Chef AJ for me too!)

The Raw Brownie Bites were actually delicious! I even tried to make them into smaller circles so that it would seem like I had more than 12 (I wanted them to last longer!). I really didn’t expect them to taste so good and it’s nice to have a snack that you can have for the week rather than finish them within the day.

    Thanks for your awesome recipe!

Looks amazing! I tried the brownie bites but instead of cacao i tried using protein powder and it worked.. I used this protein powder: http://helpforfitness.com.au/products/100-gold-whey-protein

As a vegan, I use dates in everything! It’s great for raw desserts and snacks (stuffed with almonds and other nuts), but my favorite is a date and banana soy milkshake with cinnamon! Mmm

boy oh boy, am I dreaming?! the first thing I would do is have some plain, I sooo love medjool dates! Then I also make no-bake energy bars with dates, nut butters, seeds, hemp hearts, sometimes add in bits of chocolate or other dried fruits. I like to make them into squares rather than balls. I haven’t yet tried using these dates for smoothies, but I’ve turned into a smoothie fan and would like to make some with medjool dates! I like stuffing them with peanut butter and adding an almond and rolling them in coconut.
